IET Academy FAQ’s
Why has the IET Academy closed?
The IET Academy launched back in 2018 as an online learning and development platform for the engineering community.
However, since launch and despite the best endeavours by both our internal and partner teams, trading for the IET Academy fell below our expectations – particularly post-pandemic.
As such, we decided to close the IET Academy on 1st December 2023 when the platform contract expired.
We are currently reviewing our entire learning and development approach so do stay connected with us over the coming months to receive all the latest news on this work. If you have any specific questions on updates on these plans please email marketing@dickvsclit.com.
Can I download the files for the old courses I completed?
Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions, downloading course files is not possible.
Will I be able to access my learning profile after 1 December 2023?
Unfortunately, now that the Academy has closed you will no longer be able to access to your learning profile. However, we can still provide evidence of your completed courses. Email us at academy@dickvsclit.com.
How do I get a copy of my certificate(s)?
If you did not download your certificate(s) before the closure, please email academy@dickvsclit.com.
I didn’t have the opportunity to add my CPD hours from my completed Academy course to my Career Manager profile. What do I do?
You can still record any learning and hours in Career Manager after the Academy has closed and can include details and reflection when they are ready. Any queries please email cpd@dickvsclit.com who will be happy to assist.
I need a VAT invoice for an Academy purchase, who do I contact?
